Cutting Through the Marketing Noise in smart way

We are living in a world full of marketing noise pollution. There Is just too much promotional clutter, offers, promotions, advertising that attempt to get target market attention. The result is the acceleration of the growing rate of the email in the spam and junk folder. Most properly the target market will unsubscribe and report it as spam for blacklist action.

Brands need marketing to communicate, some just abuse it. For instance, how many newsletter you are expected to receive and how frequently you are tolerant of it? It is a challenge for most marketers to get a message through the noise. In the age before COVID-19 pandemic, most of the seminar and workshop needed to be done in physics, which also in one way limited it. But after 2 years and now we are living in the next normal world. Full of webinar which if you read carefully it more a product event. How many really focus on providing a key value out of it. As such, mostly will auto go into spam and junk, and most likely the target audience will unsubscribe for it once it reaches their threshold for the endless emails.

As the world now transit to the fourth industrial revolution (4IR) Industry 4.0, 5G mobile (where soon be replace by 6G, 7G and so on soon), together with emerging technologies such as augmented reality (AR) will once again, change the world for how the marketing communication can take place, pop up by geo location or provide on store additional information overlay like promotion price etc. It is not the secret anymore, most of the movie and TV shows embed some product brand item in the scene as soft marketing. It got endless to explore, what is important is to have a creative imagination.

If you are in the long time never review what your own organisation perform on the marketing activities, it time to look over. Effective marketing facilitates sales, and makes buyers more willing and ready to buy if executed correctly. If you are still in the mindset of pushing and promoting product over marketing, it is time for you to consider how to get a proper marketing function to work in your company context. Marketing needs to exercise influence before sales activity. The better you execute marketing, the more buying facilitation on the sales end for the order fulfilment.
