Hackathons are interactive learning events where participant team can put their security skills to the test in a simulated real-world environment.
Participant team will have chance to reinforce learning through finding vulnerabilities in web applications in a real-world environment, and identify knowledge gaps the can be remediated through application security training.
Players learn offensive and defensive tactics in real-world environment where they compete to find vulnerabilities in Web-based applications. Participant team are provided quick start guides and access to Web Security Ninjas to assist in their efforts. Real-time scoring keeps participants engaged and creates friendly competition.
