Today is International women’s day 2022, and with the team for gender equality today for a sustainable tomorrow. It is a good day to remember and to commentate the cultural, political, and socioeconomic achievements of women in the historical timeline of human kind.
With the theme, to continue promoting gender equality and no gender bias, and this year tag #BreakTheBias . Without doubt, without women’s contribution along the historical timeline till today, we may or may not be in the current world we are living in today.
Typically women, in particular those that are married, with children, and at the same time working, it is not that easy to handle multiple roles and expectations. Of course, we can not say the whole world has achieved gender equality yet, else it will not need to be promoted in the first place. Due to historical and cultural influence, certain societies have much stronger gender bias, but with the world moving toward fourth industrial revolution (4IR) industry 4.0, most of the work eventually is knowledgeable work, not really labour work, under that consideration, gender equality should expect to be less of an issue in the coming day.
