It had been a year since E-SPIN join into partnership with Cerbero Labs in November 2021. With believe that there are multiple improvements and new updates needed to be shared with our customers along the way, we hereby present you, our latest talk with Erik Pistelli-Founder and CEO of Cerbero Labs.
Firstly, let’s us celebrate the release of Cerbero Suite 6.0 and Cerbero Engine 3.0. Explain the importance of this new release. Why there is need for organizations to embrace this new release?
Much of the development time of Cerbero Suite 5 went into creating the infrastructure for Cerbero Store. Although we have already introduced many useful packages, the 6.x series will benefit from even more packages released on Cerbero Store. Cerbero Engine is now an established technology which companies can rely on as a back-end to provide their own services.
Among the significant improvement in Cerbero Suite release that happens in 2022 include the introduction to Abuse CH Intelligence Package. What are the benefits of this feature? How does it improve users experience?
The commercial “AbuseCH Intelligence” package demonstrates how a cloud intelligence service can be completely integrated into the user interface of Cerbero Suite. Users can use the package to search for malware samples and query information about analyzed samples from MalwareBazaar. We have also released the “Sample Downloader” package which makes it possible to download malware samples by their cryptographic hash from multiple cloud intelligence providers.
Various technologies had been adopted by organizations in order to maintain sustainability since the outbreak of COVID-19. How does this situation impact Cerbero Labs?
COVID-19 created new opportunities for malicious actors, but the work of malware analysts and forensic experts hasn’t changed from the technical perspective. Therefore, the pandemic didn’t change our development goals. We’re committed to give our customers the best technology we’re capable of.
In our previous exclusive interview, we have talked about plans in taking Cerbero Labs forward. How had the journey been so far?
In 2022, we launched Cerbero Store and released many packages on it, we released the bare metal edition of Cerbero Engine, we completed big chunks of our SDK documentation and we published the first issue of our company e-zine. We’re very happy with our journey so far and we aim to make 2023 even more interesting.
As we are now approaching the year 2023, share with us what can be anticipated from Cerbero Labs moving forward or technology road-map.
We’ll definitely see some new tools in Cerbero Suite and we want to finish the SDK documentation. New packages will be available on Cerbero Store and, in particular, we’ll release some exciting packages reserved to commercial licenses. For this reason throughout the next months we’ll be offering discounts for the purchase of commercial multi-seats licenses of Cerbero Suite.
