It is time for families to be together and a week of an official public holiday.  Chinese New Year 2021 falls on Friday, February 12, 2021, beginning a year of the Ox. Chinese New Year Eve is the time for family members re union, a historical culture hold and remain for a long time.

Depend on the countries, some is celebrate for  exactly one moon cycle for 15 days. No all place will had Dragon dance due to number of people and space requirement. Lion dance will be more common. Chinese families gather together for a reunion dinner on New Year’s Eve, and clean their houses to sweep away bad fortune on New Year’s Day. Traditionally, kids would be given red envelopes stuffed with ‘lucky money’ and positive wishes on New Year’s Day. The Year of the Metal Ox Chinese Zodiac, it will last until January 31st of 2022.
